Brainy Camps Offers Resiliency Workshop for Parents

Resiliency is one of the hot topics in today’s world of healthcare.  It has been shown that, no matter the condition or its severity, resilient children are better able to handle obstacles in their lives and deal with the difficulties that arise.

On April 26, 2014, we are offering a parent workshop on resiliency.  Participants will learn what parents can do to increase their children’s ability to cope.   As this is a pilot project, only 30 parents can participate, so please sign up early.  “Roots and Wings” will be held in DC, either at Children’s National or just down the street at Trinity Washington University, from 9:30am-noon.  The cost is $25/person and the workshop is open to all interested adults.
