Rockingham Memorial Hospital is currently located at 235 Cantrell Avenue, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801, which is less than a 10-minute drive from Massanetta Springs. Rockingham Memorial Hospital can be found on the internet at www.rmhonline.com. RMH is a 270-bed, independent community hospital, and it has been ranked by HealthGrades, an independent healthcare rating company, in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical excellence. A new 600,000 square foot facility is currently under construction, with a targeted opening date in early Summer of 2010. The new hospital facility is located within a driving distance of less than five minutes from Massanetta Springs.
The University of Virginia Medical Center is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. UVA Health System’s services include a 24-hour critical care air transport program, Pegasus, and both RMH and Massanetta Springs can accommodate medivac helicopter landings. The approximate flight time from UVA Medical Center to Harrisonburg and Massanetta Springs is 15 minutes.
