Healthy Habits Family Cooking Classes: 6-session cooking classes for families with a child at risk for childhood obesity; next session TBD
Headed by Kofi Essel, MD, pediatrician at Children’s National Health System, specializing in childhood obesity, an interdisciplinary medical team have developed a 6-week cooking class for families with a child at risk for childhood obesity. Classes are held from 3 pm to 5 pm weekly at The Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003.
Class themes for the up and coming session include Getting a Healthy Start, Family Meals Made Easy and Restaurant Meals You Can Make at Home. These classes are being offered at no cost to the families. Space is limited so please register early.
